Welcome to the Humane League Veg Outreach Calendar of Philadelphia Events posted here primarily focus on advocating for farmed animals, as they represent over 98% of the animals used and killed in the United States. We will include many opportunities for vegan outreach including  leafleting, tabling and other events that help promote compassionate lifestyles.       

HELP US SPREAD VEGANISM!!!! Our group is focused on educating others about veganism and advocating for animals. We often leaflet Vegan Outreach pamphlets, keep up to date on AR issues, have social gatherings, discuss ways to advance veganism, have some volunteer opportunities, etc... To date we have not had any protests, although many of our members, including me, have been to protests run by other groups and we do on occasion forward info about peaceful protests to our members. Vegetable Fans

For naturally inspired Mamas! This group is for crunchy, punky, hippie, right, left, middle, introverted/extroverted mamas (and so much more!) who aspire to use natural and alternative parenting and living approaches. We can come together in a safe place, free of judgment. Any mama can join, just please respect everyone's views! The co-op is a subgroup of New Jersey's Naturally Inspired Mama's. It features anything from childcare to homeschooling cooperatives.

… Note: We love to eat and socialize as much as anyone, but there are many groups in the area already dedicated to dining out, vegan potlucks, parties, etc. Our group is dedicated to increasing participation in various animal campaigns in the region and as such, will focus on events where those interested in helping animals will be able to do so.

… The menus in our cooking demonstrations and workshops will include various ethnic cuisines along with Home-style, American Bistro Vegetarian and Vegan. We will also include special diets like Gluten Free or Spa Cuisine from time to time.
