I am currently reading a great book called "A Place To Stand" by Jimmy Santiago Baca. He did a few years at Florence Prison and know he is a well know author and poet who taught himself to read and write while in prison.

Doing well. We went in a pool for the first time today... Denver did great!! I have to go to work on Monday for three weeks but after that we should get together.... How are you?

Thanks for the shout. I'm new to this whole meetup thing and haven't met anyone or done anything yet. Yes, we are on an alternate schedule, but not the same one as in the book, a little different. Our nurse practioner is really cool with it, but our Doc is more pushy. I've got a few Dr. Sears books, they are great. I'm also a big fan of Mothering magazine.
