Hey, all,
I thought maybe we could compile a list of ingredients which are NOT vegan. Sometimes these are hard to discern.

For example, I've been wondering about various Worcestershire and barbecue sauces...I don't have any at home right now, but I thought I remember a friend of mine saying some W. sauces have anchovies in them?

Most do have anchovies in them, but there are brands that don't have them. I haven't tried any of it because I'm not really a big fan of it, but I know you can get it at www.veganstore.com

There is also a web page I saw somewhere that explained all the ingredients and where they came from. I'll see if I can find it...

Kroger's house brand seems to be free of anchovies and other animal products. (Well, I've been trusting it for years...!)

Here's a useful site:

This isn't the site I was thinking of, but it's still pretty useful...
