About The Milwaukee Vegan Meetup Group

Hello! Welcome to the brand spankin' new Milwaukee Vegan Meetup!

We are a group of friendly vegans, many of us active in Alliance For Animals (AFA) and/or Citizens United For Animals (CUFA), who would love to meet like-minded people for socializing, activism, and tasty eats. Anyone who is interested in veganism and/or animal rights, step right up!

A bit of background: AFA and CUFA have been doing some joint activism and some joint lunches together in recent months, and we noticed that there are lots of Milwaukee-area vegans looking for a meetup! We thought we'd take this chance to invite more area vegans to these lunches so we can all meet more like-minded friends. More is better, right? We think so!

The site has only recently been set up, so please keep an eye out for more information as we get settled. We will be posting information about our monthly lunch events (organized by Kim Fisher-Isaacs, president of CUFA), and we will also be posting other events of interest (for example, AFA is bringing in some great vegan-related and AR-related speakers over the next few months!) on the Calendar feature.
