Meetup is about getting together - sharing your life - making new friends - spending time with old friends - doing something meaningful - just passing the time - growing - becoming a community - loving - understanding - education - making a difference.

Veganism is about leraning to live more compassionately, understanding that all beings have a right and choice, awareness of our actions and how they effect others, freedom, and love.

As a group we get together to share, grow and have FUN. Please use this group as a way to connect, get connected and stay connected with the local Vegan community. Please feel free to email the organizers of the group with any suggestions you may have.


Group Guidelines

• RSVP: It is critical to communicate you are a part of the group, please RSVP ("YES", "Maybe", "NO") for events as best as you can. If you have RSVP'd "YES" and find you cannot attend, then please change your RSVP to "NO". Due to reservations and seating it is crucial that all "YES" RSVPs attend.
  
  
• PROFILE: It is mandatory that all members have a profile. It is encouraged that you have a photo and fully complete the profile questions. Not doing so just makes it tough for people to get to know you.
  
  
• ACTIVE: Be active. Active means visiting the site at least once a month. Of course there are exceptions like vacations, having babies, alien abductions, time travel, and such.
  
  
• EVENTS: We try to offer a wide variety of events from the community, some of our own making and some by others. You can check out our What we Provide page for additional information.
  
  
• SOLICITATION: If you have a business and want to promote it to your members then you will need to contact "THE VEGAN" to discuss sponsorship. You can also check out our sponsorship page for additional information.
  
  
• DUES: We have a small membership fee of $0.50 cents per month, paid in one annual amount. Membership is due within one month of you joining the site, and must be paid via paypal, amazon (does accept credit cards) or cash/check when you attend a meetup. A non-meetup meetup is scheduled on the 1st day of the next year with the due year title, it is used for paying you're membership dues and keeping track of those that have paid.
