About The Orange County Veggie Meetup Group

This group provides a venue for the veggie community to connect. These meetups are open to everyone, no matter where we are on our path. While we are mostly vegans and vegetarians, curious omnivores and veggie-ish people are welcome to come participate and ask questions. So far, this group has mostly met at local vegan restaurants, but potlucks and other fun events are in the future as well. We do prefer to keep the food options primarily vegan so that all of us can partake.

Vegan: Someone who enjoys foods free of meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, or milk. Vegans like their fashions free of leather or fur and often skip on honey or silk.

Vegetarian: Someone who enjoys foods free of meat, poultry, or fish, but may eat eggs, dairy, or milk.

Veggie: Someone who loves healthy and tasty veggies and other meat free foods.
