Hey everyone! Let's all enjoy a "Hemp Social."

This will be a buffet style social event at Hemp Restaurant Asa in Shimokitazawa. Price is set at 3000 yen per person for food only. Drinks can be paid for separately. I have reserved the whole restaurant, so we can sit, stand, move around and mingle. Also, if you've never tried Hemp foods before, you're in for a real treat.

Important:
Food will be prepared based on the number of people who RSVP 'Yes'. So please only RSVP if you are sure you will come.

Please check out there website(mostly Japanese) for map and restaurant info:
http://www.asanomi.jp...

Note:
Although this is a buffet, please understand that the food amount may not be quite equal to the massive amount we receive at the monthly Pink Cow buffet. Food will be prepared based on how many people RSVP. After the buffet food is finished, you can order more food separately if you like. Please refer to their website for the kinds of food to be served.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Details summary is below.
Thanks,
Earl

    •  The food was really tasty, but still felt hungry afterwards.. Not really worth the 3000yen, but around 1500yen.. however, met some great people and the dishes were great! Thanks for organising it Earl.
    •  Many thanks to Earl for organising :) Place was nice, staff were friendly, Falafels, spring rolls and tofu were the highlight of the meal (at least for me). However, I couldn't help but feel like they were going a little cheap on us though - paper plates and bowls for one...and much as I was expecting a lower quantity of food than the norm, it really felt more like a sample tasting of each item than a buffet. Still, it was certainly different :) (I'm ordering a whole plate of those felafels next time)
