Join VSDC and the Washington, DC Area Vegan Meetup group this summer for food and fun in beautiful Rock Creek Park. Please bring a vegan dish to share (no animal products like meat, fish, fowl, eggs, dairy, honey, etc., and their derivatives) that serves four times the number in your party. You should bring the ingredient list/recipe and serving utensil. You are also encouraged to bring your own reusable plate, cup, and utensils to cut down on the use of disposable products. Directions by bicycle/walking: Take 16th Street to Sherrill Drive into Rock Creek Park. Take a right at the stop sign and proceed to Grove 10.

Directions by car: From downtown DC, take 16th Street to Rittenhouse. Turn left into the public golf course entrance of Rock Creek Park. Bear left, following the sign to Beach Drive. At the stop sign, turn right onto Beach Drive and follow signs to the right Grove. Proceed slowly and cautiously as bicyclists and runners have the right of way. The signs indicating that Beach Drive is closed means that cars are allowed but cannot continue past Grove 10.
