Additional information: "I started the company because I moved to the foothills of Western NC where there is little vegan food. I did not want to cook just for myself and thought that there must be others like me who do not have the time to cook, do not want to cook for one, or cannot cook. We cook and ship once each week. The menu is pre-set and changes weekly. Each week, we prepare two soups, two desserts, and eight grain/legume/vegetable dishes. All meals are fully prepared - just heat and eat. Our ingredients are organic, including the spices."

Introduction: Hello. I've been a vegan for 20 years. In October, I launched The Hungry Vegan - a nationwide, vegan, organic meal delivery service. I just wanted to let you know that we are out there.
How much of the time do you cook/prep your own food?: 95% of the time now that I've started a vegan meal delivery business :)
What and where is your favorite vegan spot in the world to eat?: The best vegan food I've had is at an Ethiopian restaurant in DC and at a Turkish deli is Malta.
